Gail DeFrancesca graduated from University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in 1974 with Bachelor of Science in History and Sociology. After graduating, she and her first husband owned three hotels with a partner, in Wisconsin and Minnesota. After selling the hotels, they purchased a liquor store across the street from University of Wisconsin-Stout, which she described as a “great business!” After selling the liquor store, she was hired as marketing director at the University, and it was a “dream Job.” After the passing of her husband in 1995, and she moved to Florida in 1996, met her husband Louie, and the rest is history!
